Pro’s Shabby Bedroom

I wanted you to visit with my friend and see what she has been doing with her new finds.

First lets welcome one of her new finds, Kitty.  Kitty sits just right on the vintage bed and chenille bedspread.

Dollhouse

Hey guys check this out.

The Before.

dollhouse 001

Believe it or not, this I found on the side of the road as trash.   OK, right now it looks like trash.  But wait.

dollhouse 002

The previous owner, little girl, loved stickers and markers, ALOT.  And this is after I removed an unbelievable amount of stickers.

Isn’t it coming along great.   We still are planning on dressing up the rooms.  Lots of ideas flying around on what to do.

Don’t you think some little girl would love this?  So it will be at my flea market booth, waiting for a special someone to take it home.

Yes, they are coffee filters

Look at what I made.

coffee filter flowers 005

I made these out of used coffee filters I have been collecting for some time.

I love the multi toned color of the flowers.  The flowers look like big old fashioned roses.  I love it. Don’t you?

I had to try a nosegay.  Added a very pale peach bow and vintage lace to wrap the handle.  Wouldn’t this be awesome for a wedding.

I had to try a wreath in autumn colors too.  Love zinnas.  I’m not in love with how this one came out, but it will do.

The detail is wonderful.

She will be leaving soon.  Hopefully someone will have her grace their home soon.

Will be very busy with a garage sale in a week and a city wide garage sale at the beginning of October.

This Should Go On Forever-Rod Bernard

Do any of you remember this song? I was lucky enough to attend a show recently in Crowley, La. that Rod Bernard was performing at. It was a great evening.

I started thinking maybe a few of you would remember this and have a few fond memories associated with the song.

Enjoy.
