It’ s Blue Christmas
My lovely daughter in law has wrapped all her gifts this season with blue ribbon, in honor of my hubby.
I love her for her thoughtfulness.
He recently found out he has prostate cancer.
He will be having surgery later this month.
Just Because
More stuff I have been working on.
The before.
The after.
Look at the top we added. It was a door from an old cedar chest.
Here is a better shot of the cute head board I found.
Before of a metal stand I found a couple of weeks back. Will post the after once I take a photo. Big difference.
Check these out. I scored 4 of these chairs. Yea!!!!!!
Also did a curio. Originally had a mirror back, but Pro and I sorta dropped the mirror. Not good. So go to Plan B , Wallpaper.
Most, if not all, will be going to the shop. Trying to get ready for this Saturday.
The city of Breaux Bridge is having a “ginormous” garage sale this Saturday. So if any of you all are in the area, come on by and see us. We are expecting about 10,000 people to come thru this small town for big deals. The whole town is going into garage sale mode.
Look at what this roadside shopper has picked up.
The side is completely covered with duct tape. Removed the tape and am now trying to get all the glue off. Other than the duct tape that I am removing and a little wash, this piece is in excellent condition.
Now this is my most current roadside bargain. Isn’t it just tooo000 cute?
Look at the art work. Awesome.
Now for some pretties in my garden. Enjoy.
I wanted you to visit with my friend and see what she has been doing with her new finds.
First lets welcome one of her new finds, Kitty. Kitty sits just right on the vintage bed and chenille bedspread.
I know, it’s fuzzy. Hey, I never said I could do photos.
Maybe a little better.
Isn’t this a great idea. Old gate with lots of her treasures. Love the old gown.
This old dresser is pretty awesome. Love the chippyness (I know, no such word).
This on the other wall from the bed.
Hey guys check this out.
The Before.
Believe it or not, this I found on the side of the road as trash. OK, right now it looks like trash. But wait.
The previous owner, little girl, loved stickers and markers, ALOT. And this is after I removed an unbelievable amount of stickers.
Here is the middle part of after.
Pro, my flea market buddy, did a great job with the climbing rose vine.
Isn’t it coming along great. We still are planning on dressing up the rooms. Lots of ideas flying around on what to do.
Don’t you think some little girl would love this? So it will be at my flea market booth, waiting for a special someone to take it home.
Look at what I made.
I made these out of used coffee filters I have been collecting for some time.
I love the multi toned color of the flowers. The flowers look like big old fashioned roses. I love it. Don’t you?
I had to try a nosegay. Added a very pale peach bow and vintage lace to wrap the handle. Wouldn’t this be awesome for a wedding.
I had to try a wreath in autumn colors too. Love zinnas. I’m not in love with how this one came out, but it will do.
